Why the Conch and Chakra in Sriram’s Hand?

Usually Sri Rama blesses in His Standing Posture - Nindra Thiruk Kolam with HIS Bow and Arrows. But here in Thiru Pullabhoothangudi HE is seen in His Lying Posture - Kidantha Thiruk Kolam and that too holds additionally the Conch and Chakra alongwith His Bow and Arrows in His Four Hands. This is the one and only temple where we can see Sri Rama is seen with all His ornaments. Sita Devi is not seen as this temple is related to the period when Sree Rama suffered by the abduction of His consort Sitadevi by Ravana.

Suddenly a BIG Light appeared and Thirumangai Azhwar looked back and saw Sri Ramar with four Hands with his Usual Bow and Arrow as well additionaly a Conch and Chakra. Blessed Thirumangai Azhwar requested the Almighty to present and bless the devotees in the same form as he was blessed. The orignal moolavar is made of Sudhai.
